| I checked my Neopets referrals today and this is the list:

Yet, only five people have commented me to let me know they signed up. So I'm realizing that a new rule should be made if you'd like your xanga linked in my sidebar: When you tell me you've registered, also give me your Neopets username, so I can truly confirm it.
If you're in that list of usernames, please tell me which one is yours immediately. I'm guessing that #1 is britt1511's, #2 is ivyhatter's, and #5 is yatzismee's, but I'm not completely sure, especially for #5. As far as the rest go, I have no idea.
Another note: Neopets is also telling me that none of these accounts are activated. They say that they only check this once a day, so I will recheck everyone's status tomorrow. So if you've activated your account, don't worry, it will probably show up by tomorrow. If you haven't activated your account, remember that you have to follow a link from an email Neopets sends you after signing up in order to activate it. Your referral will only count for me when your account's activated. So make sure you complete this step, because, as I should have mentioned sooner, I will only list your xanga on my sidebar once your Neopets account is considered active on the site.

| Alright, so I went through my subscriptions, and was surprised to discover that 64 people have subscribed because of the plugz I've created. Wow! I'd like to thank all of you for subscribing. It's great to know that people are interested in my average life.
WHAT: So now I'd like to ask you guys a favor. See, I've been playing on this site called Neopets on and off for nearly eight years now. If you've never heard of it, that's okay. All you need to know is that it's 100% free and 100% safe (virus-free). And on Neopets, there is this referral program, which is where you guys come in. Basically, I provide you a link, you click on it, and you make a Neopets account. The process takes only about 5 minutes, unless you enter random ass information during sign-up (like when it asks you to name your pet, you just put in "slknsd" or something) - then it'll take even less time. BUT MAKE SURE YOU USE A VALID EMAIL ADDRESS, because after registration, you're sent an email that contains an activation link. The sign-up won't be valid as my referral unless you activate your account!
WHY: I want you guys to help me with this because for every certain amount of referrals I make, I earn some sweet prizes.

| Yes, I have been on xanga for almost five years now. Holy shit. It has been quite a journey!
Anywho, it's really incredible outside today - 70 degrees. (I'm in Illinois where we're on the brink of Winter, so everyone is kind of spazzing.) And yet, Alli and I are sitting in my room with nothing to do. I'm going a little crazy, I need to get outside soon. Inhaling the fresh warm air makes me feel so alive. Although, I think we have plans now. I dunno. Alli's doing a lot of texting to communicate with everyone... haha.
Last night, Alli and I went over to our friend Amanda's house to be with her and our friend Tim. It was the same deal as usual: Sit around, talk, laugh, wonder what to do til we decide we're hungry, then go get fast food. Oh, and when it comes to Tim, this is usually all occurring after like, 10:00pm til however many hours after midnight. XD
Anyways, I'm just saying all this because Amanda has an adorable kitten and I took pictures and a video of it and thought I'd share with you. P.S. Her name is Zombie and she's extremely hyper. :)

| went pretty well! I went inside, stated I arrived for an interview, had to awkwardly wait a few minutes, and then the lady called me over and it started. She was SUPER nice, and really easy to talk to. And the questions she asked were so easy for me to answer off the top of my head. I felt like they were all really intelligent but still honest answers. In fact, it was so simple, that I felt COMPLETELY comfortable the entire interview. I was nervous for nothing. And no, don't tell me that you knew I was nervous for nothing, because when I've been nervous for past interviews, I'd get to the interview, it would no0ot go so smoothly, and so it sure as hell wasn't a mistake to have been nervous. Haha.
Seriously though, I did an amazing job. I think maybe the fact that I want this so bad may have helped me... I'm really hoping I get the job. It seemed like I will, but who knows? She said she'd call me after the weekend. So probably Monday. Ahhh! I need a job so badddd.

| I think there was some confusion on my last post. A couple people were commenting about my birthday. My birthday is on August 31st... I was talking about my 16 months of dating my girlfriend!! We're dorks - we like to celebrate our small anniversaries while we're still young :P
Just wanted to clear that up!
Anyways, while I'm here, I have a job interview today. Now there is a slightly long story about why I'm so grateful for this interview, but I'll skim over the main points:
-I had a lot of annoying problems at my last job, and eventually they just stop giving me any hours, even though I was a way better worker than even my BOSS was.
-I have tried so hard to make my applications look good, and still I get no calls.
-My last hire was almost a year and one month ago. I've needed to be making my own money for THAT long now. And I've had no calls for that long now, until earlier this week for this interview.
-Now that I have experience at a game store, I figured I'm way more likely to at least get calls from other GameStops. But, nope!
I'm really nervous though. Like... I suck at interviews, hardcore. I don't wanna make an ass of myself, and I don't wanna blow it and not get the job. Interviews remind me of speech assignments that you didn't study, so when you go in front of your audience, you blank, your throat swells up, and you sound like an idiot, saying all the things you didn't even plan to. Except, it's even a little worse than that, because you can't fully study. You have no idea what questions they're going to ask you, so you have to know how to answer the new ones on the spot, which can really kill you.
Anyways, wish me luck...? I really need this job. I'm nervous, and it'll be hard getting used to having a job again if I get it, and of course if I really didn't HAVE to work I wouldn't. But I really do need the money.
Update later on how it went, probably.
